Counselling

This is a place to pause & breathe

We believe lasting change takes time, structure, and commitment. That’s why our counselling services are offered in 6-session plans, designed to give you the space and consistency needed to work through challenges and see real progress.

This approach allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship, explore underlying concerns, and develop practical strategies tailored to your goals.

After completing your initial 6 sessions, we’ll review your progress together and discuss the next steps. You may be eligible to extend your counselling plan if additional support or ongoing growth work is recommended.

Our aim is to ensure your sessions are purposeful, focused, and aligned with your individual needs.

  • Family can be the most important part of our lives, but it can also bring its own set of challenges. Maybe you are feeling stuck in patterns that cause conflict or distance between you and your loved ones. If that sounds familiar, family therapy might be a helpful way to start having those honest conversations.

In therapy, we will work together to understand what each person is feeling and experiencing. It is not about blaming anyone, it is about recognising that everyone’s feelings and needs matter. We will look for ways to improve communication, rebuild trust, listening, and support each other better.

Whether you are dealing with ongoing tension, parenting challenges, co-parenting, or big changes in your family, this space is for you to be heard and for your family to feel more connected.

If you want to explore a different way of relating with your family, we are here to walk with you through that.

  • Children and adolescents do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling or going through. Sometimes, their behaviour, whether its acting out, withdrawing, or struggling with mood swings, is their way of showing us there is something deeper beneath the surface.

During childhood and adolescence, emotions and brains are still developing, and that can make things confusing or overwhelming for them. Changes at school, with friends, at home, or inside themselves can all play a part.

Our counselling space offers a safe space where young people can feel heard and understood, even when they cannot quite say what is going on. It is about helping them by giving them tools to manage their feelings, cope with change, and grow in confidence.

If you are noticing behaviour that concerns you, or if your child is struggling to express themselves, counselling might be the support they need, and it can make a real difference for the whole family.

  • Parenting can be one of the most meaningful parts of life and also one of the most challenging. No one hands you a manual, and even when you are doing your best, it can still feel overwhelming, frustrating, or lonely at times.

Maybe you are dealing with constant battles over routines, feeling unsure about how to respond to big emotions, or noticing tension building in your relationship with your child or teen. It is completely okay to feel unsure, parenting is complex, and every child is different.

We offer a space where you can pause, reflect, and find tools that align with your values. It is not about being a “perfect” parent, it is about being a present one. Together, we can explore ways to strengthen your connection with your child, manage behaviour with more confidence, and feel more grounded in your role.

If you are feeling stretched or just want to parent with more calm and clarity, you do not have to figure it out on your own. Support is here when you are ready.

  • Grief can feel like the ground has shifted beneath you. Whether you have lost someone close, experienced a miscarriage, gone through a relationship ending, or are grieving something less visible, like a part of your identity or a retirement, I want you to know that your pain is valid.

There is no timeline for grief. It does not move in straight lines. Some days you might feel numb. Other days, the sadness or anger can feel overwhelming. You might be exhausted, anxious, or even surprised by moments of relief - all of this is normal.

You do not have to pretend you are okay or rush yourself to “move on.” Research shows that when we are allowed to express our grief, without judgment, we can begin to process it in a way that brings more ease and understanding over time.

We are here to sit with you in this, not to fix or analyse, but to offer gentle support as you navigate what has changed. Together, we can create space for your grief, your story, and your way forward.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

  • If you are here because something you have been through is still sitting heavily with you - I want you to know, you are not alone.

Maybe you are trying to make sense of what happened. Maybe you are feeling the impact of it in your everyday life, in your relationships, your confidence, or even in moments of silence. You do not have to have the words for it all. We can start wherever you are.

This is a space where you will not be rushed or judged. We will go at your pace. You decide what feels safe to share, and when. My role is to walk alongside you, to support you in understanding what you have been through and how you want to move forward.

Whatever your experience has been, you deserve support, and you deserve to feel safe in yourself again, in your own time, and on your own terms.

  • If you are struggling with addiction, whether it is to substances, behaviours, or anything that is taking more from you than it is giving, If you’re wondering whether what you are experiencing might be addiction, that uncertainty is completely normal. What matters is that you’re noticing how things are affecting you and considering support, and that is a brave first step.

Addiction can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating. It might be affecting your relationships, your health, or how you see yourself.

Here, there is no judgment, just a safe space where you can be honest about what is going on. We will take things one step at a time, at a pace that feels right for you. My role is to support you in understanding your story, exploring what you want your life to look like, and finding practical ways to move forward.

Recovery is not about being perfect, it is about progress and compassion for yourself along the way. When you are ready, I am here to walk with you through this.
